"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."
Elizabeth has dedicated her career to the pursuit of civil rights for all, solely focusing on cases that fight for equal access of all people to the benefits of society.
Her career began in California, where she provided representation in a variety of cases, primarily focusing on disability rights access to public entities including schools, hospitals, and places of recreation. Elizabeth used creativity and persistance to obtain solutions for her clients that ranged from individual settlements to class action federal litigation.
She is particularly proud of her time serving as an adjunct professor and running the Special Education Legal Clinic at the University of La Verne College of Law, which provided a unique opportunity to serve the community while exposing law students to the importance of appropriate educational services for students with disabilities.
Elizabeth is the 2022 recipient of the Larry D. Kimmons Racial and Social Justice Award and the 2022 recipient of the Disability Rights Legal Center's Pro Bono Award. She currently serves as a Commissioner on the American Bar Association's Commission on Disability Rights and is a proud former Board Member for the Autism Society, Inland Empire. She has presented nationwide on issues concerning special education.
Elizabeth has recently relocated to Nevada, where she intends on continuing the fight for justice.
